The project is located in the medieval town of Embrun in the French Alps.

The rehabilitated flat will be leased on a temporary basis, notably for artists-in-residence at the Centre d’Art Contemporain d’Embrun. Multiple forms of occupancy are envisioned, ranging from public use (exhibition, restaurant, concert, etc.), to seasonal rentals (sleeping up to 6).

To support these programmes, the layout is designed to enable maximum adaptation to different scenarios. With all partitioning removed, the space is structured by a living area defined by three alcoves, each housing one programme: bathroom, kitchen and entryway.
